Ground heat system pre-study
Heating - Ground heat
Video Rettan YouTube -kanavalta.
- The technical feasibility study for geothermal energy examines:
- The situation of the heat distribution network and the storage tank visiting the site, the location of the technical space in the building, the doorways / transport routes, the internal heights and the characteristics of the site and the possible locations of the wells;
- Overview of the ventilation system to find out the possible connection options (geothermal with heat recovery or geothermal with ground cool);
- Mapping of possible additional and parallel heat source options (electric boiler, district heating, etc.); and
- Adequacy of the electrical connection (strengths of main fuses and supply cables).
- The geothermal profitability study includes:
- A computational analysis with energy calculations of the geothermal investment, payback period, consumption, operating cost and heat factor;
- Dimensioning power / energy output, need to increase fuse size;
- The study must also take into account the capacity of the wells in the yard area and the effects of the heating water temperature level (control curve) and hot water on the calculations;
- Recommendations and vertical calculations with different calculation scenarios. The life cycle costs of the different options are compared and the alternatives are compared: and
- The results show a cost comparison table between geothermal and the former form of heating, for example the annual increase in prices.
- Written report that contains the results of the technical and financial feasibility study.
- The work includes the presentation of the results at an event to be agreed separately with the buyer.
- Providers are asked in the offer if following criteria are fulfilled:
- Previous experience in ground heat pre-studies (reference list attached to offer).
- Will come to present project final results as agreed with customer
